First, please indicate exactly which image you used. Alpha 2 was just
released yesterday, and ought to contain some important fixes to the
installer launcher (though I haven't yet had time to test it to ensure
that's the case).
Could you tell me how I can make it works. Or should I use a Squeeze
cd and make an usb stick with Unetbootin. I really want to use it.
If the launcher doesn't work, even running in a terminal as Daniel
indicated, when you boot the image, just select one of the install
options at the boot prompt.

important info about installing Debian on this model. That page doesn't
mention the live images yet because they're still in alpha testing, but
debian-live alpha 2 should be suitable to use as well as the standard
debian-installer images that page recommends. If you have Eee PC
