If you're subject to US law, you need to obey US law. If you're a
company operating in the US, your US assets may be subject to US law.
If you don't know whether or not you're subject to US law, you really
need to talk to an attorney qualified and familiar with the situation
that you are in to discuss the issue with you. [If this is a free
software endeavor, the Software Freedom Law Center is probably an
ideal place to start. See http://www.softwarefreedom.org/ ]
