eh, seems that's the sad truth with j-fs - btw anybody has had such
experience (I mean, full delete then (try to) recovery) with other j-fs,
eg reiserfs, jfs, xfs ... ?

well, guess it'd be very easy for anybody to try and replicate your
'experiment' ;) - no need to throw around xxGB.
