bringing up eth0 for wireless card

Hi,

I've got a custom 2.6 kernel running on a Dell Inspiron 3200.

I am able to use a 16-bit pcmcia ethernet card following 10.10.5, "Network
configuration and PCMCIA" in the Debian reference. (ifupdown controlled
by hotplug with pcmcia-cs confined to loading modules)

I want to get a wireless card configured for travelling.

One card I have is a Linksys WPC11 v4. If I insert it, discover
provides the info:
   Realtek Semiconductor Co.,Ltd. RTL8180L 802.11b MAC

But that is all I get. Nothing shows up in dmesg, nothing shows up in
ifconfig.

What is my next step in getting the machine to recognize the card?

Thank you.

Mark
