Which one would you like me to use (for both the strings)?

The two options use a different way to specify the bug report to query.
<num> directly specifies the bug report number (as in "918001");
b<id> refers to a temporary enumeration that apt-listbugs generates
when displaying a list of bugs (so that a given bug could for instance
be identified by "b2", if it is the second bug of the list...).

I hope the difference is clear enough.

This is why the two online help strings describe the two options in
slightly different ways.

Are you OK, if I change the translation as follows?

#. TRANSLATORS: %{prog} is the name of a program, %{user} is a user name.
#: ../lib/aptlistbugs/logic.rb:647
msgid ""
"   <num>   - query the specified bug number\n"
"             (uses %{prog} as user %{user}).\n"
msgstr ""
"   <num>     - fråga efter det angivna felnumret\n"
"               (genom %{prog} som användare %{user}).\n"

You're welcome: please let me know, so that I can fix these two last
little details!
