Not too long. Here it is;)

As the man pages were not so different from the English ones, I could use
po4a-gettextize to import the translation. So I hope it should not be too
much work (mostly a review).

All strings are tagged fuzzy.

You can put the po4a directory in the man/pt_BR directory of the shadow
source package.

Then you can save the old pages in a 'old' directory.
Then you can enter the po4a directory, translate/review
shadow-man.pt_BR.po.
You can see the result by executing 'po4a shadow.conf'.
This should generate the pt_BR pages (if the old ones were not saved, they
will be overwritten).

You can use man ../gpasswd.1 to verify the generated man pages.

If you latter want to translate another page, just uncomment it in the
shadow.conf file and execute 'po4a shadow.conf'. This will add the
strings from the new man page in the POT and PO files.

The addenda contain strings that are not translations. They are for
example useful to give credit to the translators. There are currently two
of them in the addendums/pt_BR directory. They are attached to a document
in the shadow.conf file.

If you have any question, do not hesitate.

Kind Regards,
