Allerdings gibt es ja auch vielerlei Namen, da Nummern nicht leicht

Die Details brauchst Du ja auch nicht zu verstehen, wichtig ist, gute
Übersetzungen für die Fachbegriffe (oder eben auch keine, wo das
sinnfrei wäre - Cloud ist bspw. im Deutschen etabliert) zu finden
bzw. zu recherchieren.

I would suggest to either exlicitly reference the name you mean (e.g.
"the name as it appears in the directory service in use"), give a typical
use case ("symbolic name, which is typically the LDAP name") or at least
provide examples ("symbolic name, e.g. the LDAP name or the DNS name
of the machine")
