Hier verwendest du die infinitivische Form, aber nachfolgend die Satzform, bestehend aus dem Argument als Subjekt und der Beschreibung als Prädikatsverband:

Ich fände es besser, wenn du innerhalb einer po-Datei den Stil konsistent halten würdest.
