Ich habe diese Problematik parallel mit unserer Mailingliste dem
Paketbetreuer Daniel Baumann über seine Mailadresse bei
open-infrastructure.net zur Kenntnis gegeben. Er hat noch nicht
reagiert. Debian weist noch eine zweite Mailadresse von ihm aus. Die
nutze ich jetzt.

Dafür, dass obwohl in der englischen Dokumentation Wort "website"
benutzt wird, offenbar in HTML verfügbare Information, also eine
mittels Browser lesbare Übersichtsseite zum aktuellen Zustand der
open-infrastructure-storage-tools gemeint ist, spricht die Wendung "to
show as". Mich würgt, wenn englisch "site" und deutsch "Seite" Hand in
Hand gehen. Es handelt sich um "false friends". Mit "Website" als
Übersetzung wäre ein unnötiger und inhaltlich unscharfer Anglizismus
eingeführt. Gegen WEBsite spricht auch, dass die Inhalte, wie Du auch
schriebst, nicht im Web/Netz/Internet liegen müssen. In ceph-info
erscheint http://localhost/ceph-info als Ort.

Ich werde "Schnappschüsse" auch so in der Übersetzung lassen, man
müsste ja tief graben und technisch versiert sein, um zu klären, was
da eigentlich regelmaßig gesichert wird. (Speicherabbilder wohl nicht,
Änderungslisten/Journale?)

Klar. Ich dachte, Redundanz verkneife ich mir. Aber wie ich gerade
feststellte, ist das Anwählen von "Übersetzt" in Virtaal für solche
Strings ohne Wirkung auf die po-Datei. So würde diese unter Umständen
als unzureichend übersetzt klassifiziert; was sie nicht ist. Insofern
sind jetzt alle msgstr "" - Zeilen eliminiert.

Das Verb "einbinden" finde ich in dem Kontext wesentlich schöner.
