anbei die letzten drei Nachrichten mit der Bitte um konstruktive Kritik. Ich
hoffe, dass ich den Multiarch-Teil (20110726b.po.wml) schön verständlich
hinbekommen habe, denn mit dem bin ich noch nicht so ganz zufrieden.

<p>DebConf 11, the annual Debian conference opened its doors today in Banja Luka,
Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. As with previous conferences
streams of most sessions will be made available, allowing contributors who
couldn't attend the conference to still participate and send in questions
and comments via specific IRC channels. The easiest way to do so is via the
<a href="http://debconf11.debconf.org/watch.xhtml";>DebConf Watch</a>
website, which also contains several useful other tabs.

<p>Die DebConf11, die jährliche Debiankonferenz, hat heute in
Banja Luka in der Serbischen Republik, Bosnien und Herzegowina, ihre Türen
geöffnet. Wie bei vorherigen Konferenzen wird es Internetstreams der meisten
Sitzungen geben, welche es denjenigen, die nicht persönlich anwesend sein
können, ermöglichen, trotzdem teilzunehmen und ihre Fragen und Kommentare in
diversen IRC-Kanälen einzusenden.</p>

<p>Yesterday the conference already commenced with the DebianDay, a
conference day aimed at a wider, local audience. It featured talks on
<q>Understanding Debian</q>, <q>Debian in Enterprise: A Google Case
Study</q> and <q>How to contribute and get involved</q>. It was a great
success, not only bringing the Debian Community nearer to local
contributors, but also by catching the interest of the wider society as has
never happened before.</p>
<p>Bereits gestern startete die Konferenz mit dem DebianDay, einer Konferenz,
die sich an eine weites örtliches Publikum richtet. Er enthielt Reden wie
<q>Understanding Debian</q> (Debian verstehen), <q>Debian in Enterprise: A
Google Case Study</q> (Debian im Unternehmen: Eine Fallstudie von Google) und
<q>How to contribute and get involved</q> (Wie man zu Debian beiträgt und sich
einbringt). Es war ein großartiger Erfolg, der nicht nur die
Debian-Gemeinschaft und lokale Unterstützer zusammengebracht hat, sondern auch
einen so großen Teil der Gesellschaft angezogen hat wie noch niemals zuvor.</p>

So the opening ceremony was not only attended by Ćulibrk Predrag, General
Manager of m:tel, the biggest local internet and phone provider, but also
by Jasmin Komić, the Minister of Science and Technology and Aleksandar
Džombić, the Prime Minister. In a moving speech Milorad Dodik, the
President of Republika Srpska, who supported the idea of DebConf11 in Banja
Luka for the last two years, told the audience that he is proud to see that Banja
Luka and Republika Srpska succeeded to have DebConf11 here, even though
there was some fierce competition. Adnan Hodzic, local organizer, is hoping
that DebConf will attract the public's attention in Republika Srpska and
Bosnia and Herzegovina about what GNU/Linux and Debian systems are.

<p>Der Eröffnungszeremonie haben neben dem Hauptmanager des größten örtlichen
Internet- und Telefonanbieter m:tel, Ćulibrk Predrag, der Wissenschaftsminister
Jasmin Komić und Premierminister Aleksandar Džombić beigewohnt. In einer
bewegenden Rede zeigte sich der Präsident der Serbischen Republik Milorad
Dodik, der sich in den letzten zwei Jahren für die DebConf in Banja Luka
eingesetzt hat, stolz darauf, dass sich Banja Luka und die Serbische Republik
die DebConf11 gesichert haben, obwohl es einige harte Kämpfe gab. Adnan Hodzic,
der Veranstalter, hofft, dass die DebConf die Aufmerksamkeit der Serbischen
Republik und von Bosnien und Herzegowina darauf zieht, was GNU/Linux und Debian

DebConf will last until July 31 and feature a 78 session program (not
including spontaneous <q>adhoc</q> sessions) which will include talks and
workshops on Multiarch, Ports to new architectures, and better collaboration
with derivative distributions, as well as an extensive social program.
This year's conference is attended by over 400 participants from 50
countries.

<p>Die DebConf dauert noch bis zum 31. Juli. Das 78-Sitzungen-Programm (welches

<p>The Debian Project is pleased to announce that, through the donations
of various sponsors, it has been made a lot easier to provide interested
people with live video streams of sessions from Debian related
conferences. <q>While previous Debian Conferences only had video coverage
on a best effort basis, this one might be the first one with complete
coverage of all sessions!</q> says Holger Levsen, leader of the DebConf
Video Team; <q>Setting up the video gear has never been so easy! My teammate
Ben even had time to upload the Linux 3.0 kernel during the opening session,
since everything was running so smoothly.</q>.
This will be possible thanks to donations from <a
href="http://www.hp.com/go/linux";>HP</a> and <a
href="http://www.irill.org/";>IRILL</a>: the former provided several HP
EliteBook 2540s while the latter bought equipment worth about 15,000 Euros
including two professional cameras with tripods
plus two other cameras. IRILL will make this equipment available to the
DebConf video team for DebConf and FOSDEM and provide safe storage for the
equipment when not in use.</p>
<p>Das Debian-Projekt freut sich, dass es durch die Spenden verschiedener
Sponsoren viel leichter geworden ist, interessierte Leute mit Videostreams
von debianbezogenen Konferenzen zu versorgen. <q>Während die früheren
Debian-Konferenzen nur eine Videoabdeckung nach dem Best-Effort-Prinzip hatten,
wird diese die erste sein, in der alle Sitzungen abgedeckt werden!</q>, sagt
Holger Levsen, Leiter des DebConf-Video-Teams: <q>Das Aufstellen der
Videoausrüstung war noch nie so leicht! Mein Teamkollege Ben hatte sogar noch
Zeit, während der Eröffnung den Linux-Kernel 3.0 hochzuladen, so glatt ging
alles.</q>.
Dies wird möglich dank der Spenden von:

During this year's annual Debian Conference DebConf11 made the introduction of
<q>multiarch support</q> a release goal for the coming Debian release 7
<q>Wheezy</q> to be released in 2013. Multiarch is a radical rethinking of the
filesystem hierarchy with respect to library and header paths, to make programs
and libraries of different hardware architectures easily installable in parallel
on the very same system.

<p>Während der diesjährigen Debiankonferenz DebConf11 wurde
<p>Multiarch-Unterstützung</p> als Veröffentlichungsziel der für 2013 geplanten
Debian-Version 7 <q>Wheezy</q> vorgestellt. Multiarch ist ein radikaler
Neuentwurf der Dateisystem-Hierarchie mit Berücksichtigung der Bibliotheks-
und Header-Pfade, sodass Programme und Bibliotheken verschiedener
Hardwarearchitekturen parallel auf dem selben System installiert werden können.
