Genau so ist es (zumindest beim alten grub):

Damit bekomme ich ein weiteres Menü. Vielleicht passt ja dann etwas in
der Art
"Weiteren Bootloader aus menu.lst laden?"?

Die Linux-Parameter würde ich Kernel-Parameter nennen. Aber da sind wir
schon bei einer Schwäche des Originals.

Ich bin mit der Entwicklung von Grub nicht vertraut und weiss nicht, ob
die Entwickler jetzt die alte Version "Grub Legacy" nennen. Zur
Übersetzung von legacy liefert leo "die Altlast, das Erbe, ..., die
Hinterlassenschaft, ..., das Vermächtnis" und
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legacy_system :
A legacy system is an old computer system or application program that
continues to be used, typically because it still functions for the
users' needs, even though newer technology is available. "Legacy" may
have little to do with the size or age of the system.
Daher tendiere ich zu etwas in der Art von
s-GRUB Legacys menu.lst extrahiert-aus der (Datei) menu.lst des alten
GRUB gewonnen/ermittelt.
