This is a problem we sometimes experience in
debian-l10n-french. Messages over a given size are silently
discarded. That sometimes prevent correct review when the reviewed
file is large (that happens sometimes with PO files). The limit seems
to be about 60kB.

The solution we use in such case is compressing the file or, when it's
so large that even compressed, it wouldn't fit, to put it "somewhere"
and post the URL.

I'm not sure whether this is the problem here (as the original
messages went through the list manager). Justin message might have
been a little bit larger than the original one, for instance because
of posting a patch or whatever...
