RFR D-I Manual: Vertaling van install-overview.xml
Ik ben begonnen met de vertaling van H3.
De titel van het hoofdstuk is geworden:
'Voordat u Debian GNU/Linux installeert'
(was: 'Before Installing Debian GNU/Linux')
Omdat dit de enige tekst was in preparing.xml, stuur ik dat bestand niet
afzonderlijk toe.

complete installatie nodig zijn: het is altijd mogelijk om het bestaande
systeem op te waarderen. En de programma's zijn vrijwel altijd compatibel
met opeenvolgende releases van het besturingssysteem. Als een nieuwe versie
van een programma ook nieuwe ondersteunende software vereist, zorgt de manier
waarop Debian pakketten maakt er voor dat alle software die benodigd is,
automatisch wordt geïdentificeerd en geïnstalleerd. Omdat zo veel aandacht
is besteed aan het voorkomen van de noodzaak om opnieuw te installeeren,
zou u dat als uw allerlaatste redmiddel moeten beschouwen. Het installatiesysteem

the primary concern of this manual. She directs the
architecture-specific partitioning program, installs the linux kernel,

first system load, you have only a very basic command line driven
system. The graphical interface which displays windows on your monitor
will not be installed unless you select it during the final steps,
with either <classname>tasksel</classname> or
<classname>aptitude</classname>. It's optional because many &debian;
systems are servers which don't really have any need for a graphical
user interface to do their job.//-->

veel complexer is. De installatie van X Windows en het oplossen van
problemen tijdens de installatie hiervan, valt buiten de scope van
deze handleiding.
