May I suggest that you keep a list of the packages that you purge from
the DVD to make the CD, this time?  Then (hopefully) it will make the
task that much easier when you're working or 5.0.3 (or 6.0) as you'll
have most of the choosing done already.

Either that or do a dpkg-query on the DVD and the CD and diff the outputs.
