Network card problem with Knoppix 5.0.1
I just run into another problem with Knoppix-5.0.1: It leaves my network card
in a broken state when rebooting.
I have the following onboard LAN card on my Asus P4PE mainboard (output from
lspci):
---------
0000:02:05.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5702X
Gigabit Ethernet (rev 02)
---------
When rebooting from Knoppix-5.0.1 into another OS I get always the same error
(with subtle differences in the dmesg outputs):

--------------------------------------
The only systems that work after rebooting from Knoppix-5.0.1 are
Knoppix-5.0.1 itself and ... Windows.
I checked again with Knoppix-4.0.2 and this problem is not there. Don't tell
me again that Knoppix-5.0.1 is doing something right here for the first
time! :-)
Can someone else reproduce this problem or has any constructive ideas?
Greetings
Ronny
