If you have no idea: read FAQ, Howtos staying all over the world dealing
with Knoppix. ;)

The difference between two choices is the boot loader install: in
partition or in mbr, YOU are the root so YOU have to choose !

If you already have a boot loader in your mbr, do you think you need to
change it ?
So there is only an other choice ...
