cluster-knoppix for encoding video

hi there
i 'd like to remaster cluster-knoppix & include ripping/video encoding tools 
such as :

*Video-DVDRip
*transcode
*ffmpeg
*vcdimager
*grip
*other usefull video audio tools

but before i started i thought i'd check if anyone out there had begun or 
completed such a project?
