KMenu -> Einstellungen -> Kontrollzentrum -> Regional-Einstelkungen &
Zugangshilfen -> Land/Region & Sprache -> Regionales -> Land: Amerika,
Nördliches -> USA -> Anwenden.
After that use "Tastaturlayout" on the left panel of the control center
and choose your keyboard layout.
