Unfortunately the menus are all in German, and the arrangement is 
different than is found on the English version of Knoppix. So if 
the above can be translated into its German equivalent I will 
have at it. I have tried selecting menu items blindly but I 
never seem to get there.

If I boot the CDR I get English. If I boot from the knoppix 
partition I get German.
