You don't understand:

HD-installation gives you a Knoppix-system fully configured, but which is
basically a debian and that makes problems.

People loose KDE, get problems with dependencies.

You should ask people on #debian or #debian-de. They don't support knoppix and
why ? Because it is soo complicated.

New installers aims are to make life easier (with some tricks), but people who
use knoppix and know not enough about debian simply will fail sooner or
later.

Klaus knows what to do to have it distribution up-to-date ...

But as he does not the debian-way, its not compatible with debian, whic his
based on just one debian-tree and works like that with the lessest problems.

We spent hours in irc-channel to think about how to make knoppix better and
better ...

But still it is "fun" and only for that we do it ...

However your mails slowly take the fun from me, I must say ...

You could even try the new isntaller, I sepnt some hour even if I don't have
the time at the moment for _you_ ...

Christian Perle has written the script for _himself_ and hes not pissed off
...

I'm also not "pissed off" by Klaus, we are working together ...

However I'm slowly "pissed off" by you, I must say, as you don't understand
the motivation behind free software.

I'm open to suggestions. I did add bootdisk-support after you indirectly
requested it as soon as it was possible for me.

I'm also open to other suggestions, but still this is a fun-work ...

But if you really think that Knoppix must be a private company, which makes
money and has programmers that work for customers then found one!

Please stop mails complaining about the bad developers.

Knoppix is a Demo-CD and if you don't accept this, change it.

cu

Fabian

PS: Really with each mail from you I did loose more motivation and interest.
So stop it also in your own interest. Or start being productive and say
exactly what you want to change about new installer and so on ...
