Ok then I modified the file as you proposed yesterday, it get the hotplug launch in the boot but nothing happens after that... I mean when I plugged something.
Then I tried to boot from the knoppix CD and try to see how should normally work the hotplug. It works fine with the CD and I even find it very impressive :)
But I messed up with something else, then now I've to reinstall KNOPPIX from scratch :)
Could you send me your fstab.conf? I will then be able to take exactly the line that you have for the usb things and then, if it still don't work with the same lines than you and the file modified to have hotplug launch.... that means I have a bigger config problem somewhere else!
