  I don't mind Metadistros popularity by itself, but only because I
  think that the concept being developed in metadistros is just the way
  should be done in Debian. We should provide a basis on which people
  can build distributions that fit their very partical needs.

  I like the name, Metadistros, because it says what it is. After all,
  Knoppix, Flonix, Morphix, ... are no more than metadristos based
  distributions, though we've started the house by the roof in some
  aspects.

  Yes, that's just what intended. Having a nice set of tools in Debian
  for easily building your own distribution. Based on that, the other
  projects can focus on what they really want: satisfying their
  users/clients needs. Of course they will always welcome on helping
  improving the base system or the loader in Debian :-)

  I'd like to see Sean's TODO list soon, so things can start being
  integrated in Debian. After starting doing this, I think that opening
  a Debian subproject for this will be important.

  BTW, metadistros scripts have been worked a bit more lately and some
  of the include now some comments in English.
