Just now, Partition 1 is not used at all. It is typed as 83(linux)
and formatted ext3, and marked as the bootable partition.
I hope to be able some time to restore MS Windows to that partition,
but meantime I use it for scratch.
Lilo is in Partition hda2, and boots the others.
Since writing that I have moved the bootable mark to Partition 2, and
changed the type of partition 1 to b(win95Fat32) but neither change
affected the behaviour of knoppix. I have not yet made it a Fat file
system, will let you know later if that has any effect.
