I completely support this idea. We are also in the proccess of developing a 
farsi version of knoppix (ofcourse, we can only do this once KDE 3.1 is 
released and added to Knoppix, because we have translated KDE 3.1, but there 
is no farsi localization of KDE 3.0 ), but as far as we can see, there is 
really no normal procedure for doing so, except than unofficial/incomplete 
Howtos, here and there. It would be great to standardize this procedure.
