Yes,
I have a problem on my laptop with automount (I guess).
In konkeror when typing /mnt/ I get stuck.

Let me explain how I boot...
KNOPPIX copy on HD and boot from floppy.
But as soon as it is booted, I remove floppy drive
(for added mobility with my laptop).
