Hi Jens

Thanks for this - yes it would be much simpler to copy the files to
the (Linux Kernels) folder on the MacOS (8.6) and yes it is on the same
disk. However, I seem to be having trouble mounting the Mac partition:

mount -t hfsplus /target/dev/hda5 /mnt
mount: Mounting /target/dev/hda5 on /mnt failed: No such device
mount -t hfs /target/dev/hda5 /mnt
mount: Mounting /target/dev/hda5 on /mnt failed: No such device
mount /target/dev/hda5 /mnt
mount: Mounting /target/dev/hda5 on /mnt failed: Invalid argument

I've created the <mountpoint> /mnt and I know that /target/dev/hda5
exists (the / sarge partition is hda6) so again my ignorance prevails ;)

Please bear with me ;)

Regards

Clive
