I did, and it didn't :-)  I actually added --enable-xinerama to both the 
configure lines in the debian/rules file, and double-checked that it did pass 
that to configure when I ran debuild. Debuild ran fine, the only error being 
the standard gpg-failure at the end.  However, it still doesn't work or show 
me the option to enable it in kcontrol (double check: it should appear in 
Look&Feel->Window_Behavior->Advanced, right?)  Is there x-development 
libraries that I need that it might not have picked up on?  Rather, shouldn't 
the compile have error'ed out if I didn't have them?  Anyways, and 
tips/hints/solutions would be recieved gratefully.
