I don't know, perhaps somebody else can jump in and give us an
opinion. I do not feel strongly about that, because omegat is very new
in debian and it will ship anyway with an outdated version (1.8.1 has
several important new features and 2.0beta is faster and will
hopefully be even more reliable).

I have no objection to this upload, but as I said I am not a DD, and I
can't upload the package. The help I really need with this package is
packaging libjna-java. When it hits unstable, I can upload a 1.8.1
package in a few days.
