se ho capito bene dal man di tune2fs bisogna comunque fare un check
anche se il filesystem è ext3. quindi bisogna settare il check o con
l'opzione -c o con la -i.
il messaggio è molto minaccioso. con l'ext3 il filesystem non sarà mai
marcato come corrotto, quindi senza un check periodico si rischia di
accorgersi di aver perso dati troppo tardi... ma l'ext3 non l'avevamo
montato per questo? per non perdere dati anche in situazioni tipo
power-failure e simili?
leggo poi nell'EXT3 file system mini-howto che consiglia di disabilitare
i check con l'opzione i(intervallo di tempo). a parte che il mio sembra
usare l'opzione -c (numero di mount) quale dei due è giusto?

quoto dall'howto (non me ne vogliate!):

A feature of e2fsck is that it will regularly force a check of a 
filesystem even if the filesystem is marked clean. Typically, this
happens on every twentieth mount or every 180 days, whichever comes
first. (questa e nuova!)
This still happens with ext3, and is quite possibly not what you want
to happen - one of the reasons you chose ext3 was to avoid the downtime
which is caused by a long fsck.
So it is a good idea to turn this feature off for ext3. 
Use the command
tune2fs -i 0 /dev/hdxx
To disable the checking.
