Dalla mailing list di postfix (parla qualcuno del team Samba, penso):

	We also have PAM modules for PDC authentication.  There are
actually two of them, pam_smb and pam_nt I think, and they work slightly
differently.
They both have the same net effect of using the NT password hash
database (either Samba or a PDC) for the password verification, thus
achieving the same result of having one password for Unix and Windows.
Luke Leighton was also working on full session authentication for Samba
and PDCs in Samba TNG.

You need pam smb authentication module, pam_smb.tgz
It is available at:
http://www.csn.ul.ie/~airlied/pam_smb/

You must define in /etc/pam_smb.conf the name
of the domain and of the PDC and/or BDC

Finally you set up pam to use pam_smb in
/etc/pam.conf or /etc/pam.d for smtp service.
