makes me wonder if zx1 AGP GART is compiled into the kernel in Gentoo
or as a module (hp_agp.ko) as in "old" Debian releases.
I remember for sure that I had to add hp-agp to /etc/modules in the
Woody/Sarge era to have AGP support (with NVIDIA Quadro4 980 XGL
graphics adapter and NVIDIA 53.36/53.47 proprietary drivers at that
time).
