I do in principle agree. But were are discussing more than simple bug
fixing. It would be fine if someone found a bug, fixed it trivially
and the original translator (or its team) would then simply aprove it.
But while I recently also edited a few translations without logging in
(simply to try out the system) I would be wary to work in this way
permanently.

And beyond simple bug fixing for Joey Random I don't see a reason not
to have a login.

I'll start a thread later for the German team. (on the German list)
