I have no idea what msgctxt is (my gettext 0.15 in Debian doesn't have
it), but these comments are read by the program, so I believe you can't
put it in the comments.

My understanding, from reading Christian's mail, is that while
translating or retaining the comments is technically incorrect,
practically it won't have any effects on the program output as long as
the space after '[' is kept.
