So what we need then are bug fixes. :) What are the crashes? I saw
messages about crashing during libc, but the talk was all about how to
reconfigure libc so it wouldn't crash when compiling...though we
shouldn't crash even for bogus compiles.

Yeah, so I restate, get to work.. ;-P Unfortunately there aren't any real errors. I don't know if that is because of crash problems or what. I have seen a couple of _pthread_spin_mutex issues on the console but not consistently. Usually it just kind of hangs there. The console is there but the system is just dead. I am afraid that it might be the >2gb ext2fs stuff with the big partitions since my other machine is relatively stable (though it dies on big builds like glibc too).

We do? Guillem and Michael are active DDs. Who else? Thomas is I
think. What about Marcus and Neal, are they both DDs?

I am, and Marcus is.

There's 4. I would like to throw my name in the NM queue but that might take a while. Who else?

Define users. Currently running an active Hurd box??? That may be
harder to quantify.

It's a rule of thumb. Fifty people saying "yes, I'm a user" may be
what's needed. If everything else is met, this shouldn't be hard.

We can just give them the list of names from #hurd.. ;-P

Thomas
