"TOC Button" is what I was looking for.

Before booting linux, run "CLEARPIM". Boot linux and when it hangs,
press "TOC Button", then from PDC prompt, type in "PIM" to get
processor state from when the TOC button was pushed. (At least that's
how I remember doing it).
