Close--xnecview will do the post-processing part (viewing of patterns,
etc.)  and will visualize the input data, which is half of what he is
looking for.  I am not aware of any Linux program which will create the
input NEC deck.  This is certainly achievable, but nobody has yet done
it. 

Preparing the input "deck" isn't all that hard once you get the hang of
it (I did this with a punch card deck about 25 years ago to run some NEC
analysis in on a main frame computer).  I haven't used the Windows
program mentioned, but I know that with W7EL's EZNEC, you essentially
have to go through the same thought process as you would in preparing
raw NEC input (but the interface is quite a bit nicer). 

I suppose one could use a spreadsheet, such as gnucalc or the one in OO
to make an entry form and output the data in the format which nec2 uses.
