Radio Kits

Hi guys,

I understand this is a little off-topic but I think that there might
be some members of this list who've had helpful experience.

I'm looking to build a kit radio to go along with my PIC-et board, and
figure that recommendations are important when it comes to this.  Any
information you guys have out there on radio kits besides the sales
pitches I find on the web I would find useful (dud parts? quality?).
If there's interest I can compile the information for later digestion.
