Thanks for your reply.
However, I have already read this many times. This is a very outdated
document (svn-devscripts doesn't exist any more). I guess it's fine
for you guys who have been involved from the beginning, but for us
mere mortals, it just doesn't work. (or I'm just too dumb or
something).

I was hoping for a more straight forward approach:
1. cd path/to/foo
2. mkdir ../tarballs
3. wget http://gnome.org/path/to/foo.tar.gz
4. mv foo.tar.gz ../tarballs/foo.orig.tar.gz
5. svn-buildpackage --svn-ignore-new -rfakeroot -uc -us

I have tried reading the source of svn-buildpackage and the .svn meta
data to no avail. I'd hate to switch to Ubuntu just to get gnome2.10,
and installing gnome2.10 from experimental is overkill.

What about doing what others have suggested, mirror all the gnome2.10
packages in alioth (away from experimental stuff in debian.org main
repo)? That could solve a problem for the rest of us.

Thanks in advanced for your time.
