Sure, but you voiced your concern, and relevant people told you their
rebuttal.  Just reiterating it all the time makes it whining.

So far, I have not seen one Debian-GNOME team member support your
position here, please correct me if I'm wrong. 

Two of them (Ross and Ondrej) said that your concern were documented or
that this was the wrong list, and two upstream GNOME people (Jeff and
Bastian) tried to explain the rationale from the GNOME POV.

Actually, I knew about ^L for a long time but I can't remember having
used it more than once or twice. So I totally disagree with your
(subjective) opinion here.
