Via cron? Please don't do this unless you know what you're doing!
Also, in addition to experimental, are you running sid or woody? Some
GNOME2 packages (especially libraries) are not in experimental but are
already in sid.

What versions of libfreetype6 and libpango1.0-0 are you running? It
seems you have libfreetype6 < 2.0.9 ...
I have libfreetype6 2.1.1-3 and libpango1.0-0 1.0.3-2.
