With a Matrox card?
I'm running the XFree86.org-provided binaries (they install straight over
the Debian files, so it's not too messy), and I'm pretty sure this doesn't
happen. I'll have to turn Xinerama back on and check. ;-) You running in 16,
24 or 32bit mode?
