Thanks for the replies everyone, particularly the pointers to things like pull and copysrc within reprepro.

Looks like we'll be rolling our own GUI.  I'll have a word with my boss before I start though; I'd really like to
open-source it, because clearly there's nothing else out there and it would probably be quite useful to at least a few
people.
