Don't know exactly what's wrongthere but why build oneof these when there
are lots available pre-built, especially the one on emdebian.org which is
nicely setup with debian paths so it 'just works' with dpkg-cross etc, and
is in and aptable repository. just add the sources line and do apt-get
task-arm-cross, as described on the website.
Best place to ask about compilation rpoblems is thecross-gcc list.

That's always been my plan. I did do a version based on tollchain-source but
a) it had bugs and b) toolchain-source has problems as a concept within
Debian. Nikita's new gcc mods make it much more plasuible to get
arm-linux-gcc versions built from these sources. I'm poking it now.
