I've recently begun working on skolelinux, with a rather large task list (http://developer.skolelinux.no/info/prosjektet/avtaler/work-joey-hess.txt) that includes sending weekly reports of what I've done to this list. This is my first weekly report. Most of the last week was spent coordinating the release of beta4 of the debian-installer. This left little time for other work. I am taking steps so that future releases need less of my time. I have begun to talk to people and work on plans for how security fixes can be made available for the testing distribution. These plans are not yet in a releasable state, but I'm happy to talk them over with interested parties privately. I hope to have a plan finalised by DebConf 4 at the end of this month. I have begun to work on fixing up debian-edu-install to work properly with base-config 2.x in sarge. I've started by adding back some missing features to base-config that debian-edu-install needs, next I will work on updating debian-edu-install to work with the new base-config framework. -- see shy jo
