Hi, I agree that this collection should wander to the plone FAQ quite soon.
The reason why I keep posting FAQ-style hints on the list, is manyfold:
- I lack the time to "flesh them out" and ask you to do so
- I am uncertain with some answers myself and plea for comments
- I wish to describe personal issues (if solved) as long I remember.

Please, feel free to contribute to these would-be-entries (comments, add-ons,
own). And, yes Gavin, we should try to determine the position in the FAQ menu
as well...

New entrie for the "maintainance section":

Q: I run a working cups installation on tjener which works fine for my thin
clients after setting up LTSP server accordingly. Now I installed a new work
station to use tjener's print server, but my print jobs vanish out of the
queue without any effects. What's wrong?
A: Check, if package "gs" is installed on your work station. Also, there must
be an appropriate ppd-File in /etc/cups/ppd. Otherwise copy from tjener...

Q: After doing some central preconfigurations for mozilla
in /etc/mozilla/prefs.js (LTSP server) mozilla won't start. With option
'-splash' I get some cryptic errors. What's wrong?
A: Possibly you tried to define a start page for mozilla. This is not possible
by just copying the settings from a personal prefs.js. To check this, just
rename the central prefs.js and retry starting mozilla. (Note: If once there
is a local ~/.mozilla/prefs.js, mozilla will start despite the invalid
central config)
