There is no absolute universal right or value to say that sexism is wrong. It depends entirely on the culture in which you live and function. But to try to enforce your own cultural values on others who differ, *is* WRONG.

However -- you're right -- this is debian-doc; NOT The Boiler Suit Brigade Campaign to Forcibly Impress Revisionist Sex-Think and Corrective Language Habits on Male Chauvinist Pigs.

So let's drop the delightfully absorbing discussion, and see what we can do to arrive at a compromise between the two points of view, shall we?

Only if you're so deluded as to think that by legislating language use you can change the way people think.

Language will change of its own accord; all debian-doc can do is reflect this; NOT cause it to occur.
