In addition, I'd like to see at least a *plan* for how to better
automate the integration between the DDP cvs area and the
www.debian.org pages where appropriate.  I don't know if cvs
branching/tagging will be required so that unreleased versions of
manuals.

We also need a plan for managing translations of manuals.  Maybe we're
just throwing translated versions of the manuals into the same
directory with the properly named files for content negotiation (i.e.,
foo.en.html, foo.de.html); maybe we're putting translated SGML into
the DDP CVS area.  I've asked the debiandoc-sgml maintainer to add
content-negotiated file naming conventions support into that package
(specifically, into debiandoc2html, at least, hopefully the other
scripts as well) -- for that see Bug#33354.

I hope he is!  He seems to have a good grasp on the structure of the
current website.
