Re: Debian User's Manual

Hey, I heard my name :) I have pushed some stuff back online, from
changes submitted to this list concerning the tutorial. I haven't had a
lot of time lately either, but have been slowly plugging away. I recently
added some kernel compile instructions, but I have yet to test to make
sure the SGML still compiles....
Havoc, is there something wrong with the happy CVS server? I
believe that the tutorial, and all document stuff belongs on one machine,
and preferably on a .debian.org machine somewhere, but until then I can
continue to donate what little cpu/bandwidth I have access too for the
documentation project.

I have a dedicated T1(1.544Mbits/s) that barely reaches 20% on busy days
here at the ISP.

Glad to hear we have a new co-ordinator for Debian-Doc project. Sorry to
hear that Christian ran away.

I think we desperately need a co-ordinator to help bring all the docs
together, but we also need a bunch more authors, to get cranking on all
the documents we currently have out there that are out of date. Do we
have full support from the rest of the debian team? Seems to me we are
somewhat orphaned from the rest of the Debian project..
