You can use wildcards in Lintian overrides. For example, instead of

emacs24-bin-common binary: setgid-binary usr/lib/emacs/24.4/x86_64-linux-gnu/movemail 2755 root/mail

you can write

emacs24-bin-common binary: setgid-binary usr/lib/emacs/24.4/*/movemail 2755 root/mail
