Perhaps that's a not a particular fair demand. See, crucial for
Raphaels idea as I read it is "official" support to users using a
rolling distribution. For both, user support and bug fixing of
course.
In this particular case, the "official" bit won't change anything for
developers. It's only a buzz word to attract more users, IMHO.

the Debian IRC support channels and all they get is "Sorry, we don't
support rolling.debian.net, get lost and bother $r_d_n_people";
"rolling" won't have its own set of packages with source modified. It will
use packages from unstable, as testing does right now. So, if a bug is
found in a package provided by "rolling", it's very likely to be found
in sid as well.
documentation suggests "don't use anything but stable" and
maintainer don't care about fixing bugs which could improve r.d.n
stability.
Who said that? which documentation are you talking about? Whoever told
you that is wrong.
"Show that it works" is the Debian principle, and it works pretty
well.
I agree. This does not imply others should sabotage his efforts
actively.
Sorry, but there is no sabotage at all! Everyone if free to set up a
rolling.d.n, and it doesn't anything else than manpower and time. All
tools and data are already published and free software. And, if he needs
assistance to set up one of the needed tools, I'm sure he'll find some.
